Dominicque Smith 

Dominicque Smith is a Registered Nurse Market Director of Case Management for three Cleveland based Rehabilitation Hospitals, a recent promotion from a Director of Case Management in Long Term Acute Care. She is also a Spoken Word Performing Arts Poet. She is co-CEO along with her husband of LoveTies LLC. She obtained her high school diploma from Shaker Heights High School, an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Nursing from Bryant and Stratton College, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron. Dominicque is also Case Management Certified. In 2017, Mrs. Smith was nominated for a Nursing Excellence and Nursing Alliance Award by the Cleveland Clinic; as well as nominated for Nurse of the Year by the March of Dimes in 2018 and was a finalist in 2020.

 

Dominicque writes and performs with a passionate delivery and flow. She opened a show for internationally known jazz artist Najee and performed for The National Urban League, The Ohio Realtist Association, Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, The Northeast Ohio Black Health Coalition, Women in Need Ministries, and the House of Blues to name a few. Dominicque has been featured on multiple music projects of local artists, radio shows, short films, plays, fashion shows, and written novels. Dominicque and her husband were awarded Poet of the Year at the 2019 Legend Awards, Best Poetry Group and Best Feature of the Year in 2021 for the Ohio Poetry Awards. LoveTies also was featured in Who's Who in Black Cleveland. Dominicque is also a member and business manager of the creative artists group A'CREW (Artists Creatively Recognizing Everyone's Worth) ACREW LLC.
